DAY 2 - ADDIS ABABA - CAPE TOWN

  • Flight to Addis Ababa departs at 04:05 AM
  • Arriving on 07:00 AM, Flight to Cape Town departs at 08:15 AM. Arrive Cape Town at 01:45 PM
  • On arrival transfer to Hotel & Check in.
  • Dinner arranged in the same hotel we are staying.
  • Breakfast & Lunch in Flight I Dinner in Hotel.

DAY 3 - CAPE TOWN CITY TOUR – ROBBEN ISLAND – TABLE MOUNTAIN

  • After breakfast proceed to the world famous heritage site Robben Island, where the former President of South Africa Nelson Mandela was imprisoned for 18 years. We take a boat to Robben Island and do a guided tour here.
  • After lunch we do Cape Town City tour. Cape Town is the legislative capital of South Africa, colloquially named the Mother City. You will go for a scenic coastal drive through Clifton & Sea Point; later tour passes the Houses of Parliament, the Castle, and a few other historical sites - District Six, Bo- Kaap, Slave Lodge & ending at the bustling Green market square etc...
  • Evening we take a cable car to the top of Table Mountain, the most iconic land mark of South Africa & one of the New 7 Wonders of Nature. The top view of Mountain offers fantastic views of Cape Town. Table Bay, Robben Island to the north, and the Atlantic sea board to the west and south.
  • After dinner transfer to hotel & overnight stay

DAY 4 - PENINSULA TOUR – CAPE OF GOOD HOPE - PENGUIN COLONY

  • After breakfast depart for a full day Peninsula Tour. First we drive to Hout bay for Seal island cruise; this is an exciting 40 minute cruise to Duiker Island, where you can view thousands of wild Seals, close up in their beautiful natural habitat. It is 5 acres in area and home to 64,000 cape fur seals.
  • Later we drive through the gorgeous coastal route Chapman's Peak, probably the most beautiful drive in the world .Get ready to breathe in the fresh air from the Atlantic Ocean and be dazzled by sweeping coastal and mountain views at Chapman's Peak.
  • This drive will take you to the famous and historical place Cape of Good Hope. This is one of the southern tip of Africa and very near to the dividing point between the Atlantic and Indian Oceans. Portuguese explorer Vasco da Gama rounds the Cape of Good Hope in his search for a route to India. We have some scenic photo stops here.
  • Then we board to a funicular train ride to the top of cape point to see the light house.
  • Evening we visit the beautiful Boulders Beach, Famous for its colony of African penguins. The African penguin is only found on the south - western coast of Africa, living in colonies on 24 islands between Namibia and Algoa Bay, near Port Elizabeth, South Africa.
  • We have Dinner at restaurant, Return to Hotel & Over night stay

Day 5 : KNYSNA - OUDTSHOORN - KNYSNADAY 5 - CAPE WINE TASTING – GARDEN ROUTE KNYSNA - DINNER CRUISE

  • After breakfast check out from Hotel & transfer to Knysna
  • On the way we stop for wine tasting, Cape Town is home to some of the most beautiful wine estates on the planet. Here we can taste 3 or 4 different types of Wines and this is included in your tour cost.
  • We continue our journey through the beautiful garden route, and is so called because of its abundant plant life & ecologically diverse vegetation.
  • On the way we stop for lunch in a local restaurant.
  • Later transfer to Knysna, Knysna is a town with 76,150 inhabitants as of 2019 in the Western Cape province of South Africa and is part of the Garden Route. The indigenous inhabitants of the Knysna area are a southern Khoekhoe people called the Houtunqua or Outeniqua. Their name means "The People Who Bear Honey".
  • Evening we do a cruise to see the breathtaking blue water of Knysna Lagoon. We will have an international buffet dinner in the cruise.
  • Transfer to hotel, Check in.

DAY 6 - CANGO CAVES - WILD LIFE RANCH - OSTRICH FARM

  • After breakfast proceed to Oudtshoorn.
  • Today we experience an adventure tour at Cango Caves. The principal cave is one of the country's finest, best known, and most popular tourist places which attracts many visitors. Cave paintings and artefacts indicate that the caves were in use throughout prehistory over a long period during the Middle and Later Stone Ages. We have a guided tour inside the cave.
  • Then we proceed to Ostrich farm, which offers farm tours, restaurant & shopping etc. Here we can taste Ostrich meat which is very lean low in cholesterol. Ostrich shell is one of the best souvenirs we can buy from South Africa.
  • Later we visit Wild Life Ranch to see more than 90 different specious of wild animals & birds. Here you have a chance to experience a unique opportunity to interact with Cheetah in its cage.
  • Drive back to Hotel in the evening. International buffet dinner at same hotel where we stay.

DAY 7 - GEORGE – JOHANNESBURG – KRUGER NATIONAL PARK

  • After breakfast transfer to George for your domestic flight to Johannesburg.
  • Arrive Johannesburg and transfer to Kruger National Park. Lunch on the way.
  • Arrive Kruger, Check in & Overnight stay. Today we have a local South African style Boma dinner.

DAY 8 - WILD LIFE SAFARI AT KRUGER

  • Collect your packed breakfast and depart early morning for game drive in Kruger. Kruger national park contains about 27000 buffalos, 12000 elephants, 2000 lions, 10000 rhinos and 2000 leopards. It is home to 114 species of reptiles including black mambas, puff adders and about 3000 Nile crocodiles. There is evidence of human occupation dating back 1.5 million years. Here you can experience the real African safari in a 4 x 4 open vehicles.
  • Sumptuous international lunch at Kruger and game drive continuous.
  • Evening drive back to our Hotel, free time for relax. Our stay is at Protea Hotel by Marriott Kruger Gate, a superior lodge style hotel on the banks of the Sabie River in Mpumalanga. The ambiance of comfort is unforgettable in the context of the African bush. Spend your free time at pool or spa. Enjoy an international buffet dinner under open sky and stars; here you can taste meat of ostrich, different types of antelopes and many more.

DAY 9 - KRUGER – PRETORIA

  • After breakfast check out and transfer to Pretoria.
  • We do a guided city tour here; we stop at Union building, the official seat of the South African Government and also the office of the President of South Africa. The Union Buildings and its spectacular gardens are a "must see" when visiting Pretoria.
  • Photo stop at the 9 m - height bronze statue of Nelson Mandela, ranked no 3 among 100 things to do in Pretoria.
  • Later transfer to hotel & overnight stay.

DAY 10 - GOLD REEF CITY - JOHANNESBURG CITY TOUR - MANDELA HOUSE

  • After breakfast we proceed to Gold reef city. This theme park located on an old gold mine which is closed in 1971. This gold mine produced 1.4million kilograms of gold before closing in the 70's.
  • Gold Reef Shaft No 14, in production for 84 years -1887 to 1971 and at its time, the deepest mine in the world. We do a guided tour here. Now they allow us to go down till level 5, 720feet for the guided tour.
  • Later we do a panoramic city tour of Johannesburg.
  • We take a stop at Vilakazi Street; this is the only street in the world that can boast having had two Nobel Laureates as residents. That is South Africa's first democratically elected president, the late Nelson Mandela, and Arch bishop Emeritus Desmond Tutu.
  • We have entrance ticket at Nelson Mandela National Museum, commonly referred to as Mandela House. Mandela came back to the house after his release from prison in 1990. At a rally welcoming him home to Soweto, his opening words were,"I have come home at last. He later wrote in his autobiography "That night I returned with Winnie to No.8115 in Orlando West, It was only then that I knew in my heart I had left prison. For me No.8115 was the center point of my world, the place marked with an X in my mental geography". Mandela lived here from 1946 to 1962. It is located very near to Tutu House, the home of Arch bishop Emeritus Desmond Tutu.
  • Evening we have some free time for shopping & drive back to Hotel

6 - If retired:

  • Retirement documents & pension proof -pension account statement – 6 months.

  • Personal ITR for  the last 2 assessment years.
  • Clear photocopies of valid UK, USA, or CAN visas (if any).

2 - Payment Terms: Full payment or a deposit, as specified in the Payment Schedule, must be made at the time of booking to secure the reservation. Failure to comply may result in cancellation of the booking.

3 - Cancellation and Refunds: Cancellation policies may vary depending on the type of service or package booked. Any cancellations or changes must be notified to Santamonica Tours & Travels in writing. Refund eligibility will be determined based on the cancellation policy applicable to the specific booking.

4 - Travel Documents: It is the responsibility of the traveler to ensure that all necessary travel documents, such as passports, visas, and health certificates, are valid and obtained prior to departure. Santamonica Tours & Travels will not be held liable for any issues arising from inadequate or expired travel documents.

5 - Travel Insurance: It is highly recommended that travelers obtain comprehensive travel insurance to cover any unforeseen circumstances, including trip cancellation, medical emergencies, or loss of personal belongings. Santamonica Tours & Travels will not be liable for any expenses or losses incurred due to the absence of travel insurance.

6 - Itinerary Changes: Santamonica Tours & Travels reserves the right to modify travel itineraries, accommodations, transport arrangements, or other components of the package if deemed necessary due to unforeseen circumstances or factors beyond its control. Any changes will be communicated to the traveler as soon as possible.

7 - Health and Safety: Travelers are responsible for their own health and safety during the trip. It is advisable to adhere to local laws, customs, and guidelines, and to take necessary precautions regarding personal health, vaccinations, and safety measures.

8 - Liability: Santamonica Tours & Travels will exercise reasonable care and diligence in making travel arrangements. However, it shall not be responsible for any loss, damage, injury, or inconvenience caused directly or indirectly due to acts of nature, accidents, delays, political unrest, or any other force majeure event beyond its control.

9 - Disputes: Any disputes arising from bookings or services provided by Santamonica Tours & Travels shall be governed by the courts of Ernakulam and the said courts will have exclusive jurisdiction over the disputed matters. The parties involved shall attempt to resolve any disputes amicably through negotiation or mediation.

10 - Data Protection: Santamonica Tours & Travels may collect and process personal information provided by the traveler for the purpose of making travel arrangements. Santamonica Tours & Travels will handle personal data in accordance with applicable data protection laws and will not share personal information with third parties without prior consent, except as required by law or for the purpose of providing the booked services.
