Day 1: -ARRIVE BAGDOGRA

Arrive at Bagdogra and proceed on a drive to Gangtok.
Upon arrival check into the Hotel.
Rest of the day is free for leisure.
Dinner and Overnight stay at the hotel.
Meals : Dinner.

Day 2: GANGTOK – TSHANGU LAKE

Breakfast at the hotel.Enjoy a excursion to Tshangu Lake (12400Ft / 3780 Mts / 43 Kms in 03 Hrs one way from Gangtok)and Baba Mandir(13100 Ft / 3994 Mts / 16 Kms in 01 Hrs one way from Tshangu Lake
Rest of the day at leisure at the hotel.
Dinner and Overnight stay at the Hotel.

Note : NRI, OCI, PIO Card holder and Foreign National are not allowed to visit Baba Mandir and Nathula Pass. They are allowed to visit till Tshangu Lake, with a valid permit. They also have to be 02 and above in number to visit Tshangu Lake. For Tshangu Lake and Nathula Pass there is no refund, after the permit is confirmed by Sikkim Tourism, due to whatsoever reason (Land slide, Heavy rainfall, VIP Movement, Health issue etc)

Day 3 : GANGTOK – KALIMPONG

Breakfast at the hotel. Enjoy Half day local sightseeing visiting Jhakri Water Falls along with Do- rulChhorten, Research Institute of Tibetology, Directorate of Handicraft and Handloom and Flower Show
Proceed on a drive to Kalimpong Upon arrival check in to the hotel and rest of the free for leisure
Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Note: Research Institute of Tibetology and Directorate of Handicraft and Handloom - (Closed on Sunday, 02nd Saturday, Local Festival and State and National Govt. holidays )· If the sightseeing points like Research Institute of Tibetology and Directorate of Handicraft and Handloom are falling on Sunday, 02nd Saturday, Local Festival and State and National Govt. holidays then we will include Nam Nang View Point and Enchey Monastery as an alternative sightseeing.

Day 4 : KALIMPONG – DARJEELING

Breakfast at the hotel.Visit Dello hills, Flower Nurseries, Jang- Dong-Palriffo Brang and Durbin Dara Hills. Proceed on a drive to Darjeeling Upon arrival check in to the hotel and rest of day at leisure

Day 5 : DARJEELING

Early morning ( around 04:00 Am ) enjoy the tour to Tiger Hills and Ghoom Monastery Breakfast at the hotel.
Enjoy the local sight in Darjeeling Evening in free for own activities Dinner and Overnight stay at the hotel.

Personal Expenses

1 - Valid national passport:

Issued within the last 10 years and with at least 6 months validity after the scheduled return, with at least two blank pages and previous passports..

2 - Three passport-size pictures:

White background, not older than 6 months, 35 x 45 mm size,80% face.

3 - If employed :

Employer letter: Original letter on company letterhead, signed and stamped by HR, mentioning your position and the duration of your service, “No objection statement” regarding the planned trip to Switzerland/Schengen States and include dates of travel.
Last 6 months salary slips and last 6 months' salary bank account statements with seal & signature.
Last 6 months personal bank account statements + FD receipts (if there).
Personal ITR for the last 2 assessment years.

4 - If student or unemployed :

Copy of the student's School ID card and bonified letter from the School.
Parents must provide their personal bank statements for the last 6 months + FD receipts (if there).
Parents' Personal ITR for the last 2 assessment years along with a confirmation letter of financial support and a copy of their passports.

5 - If self-employed and/or company owner:

Business registration certificate/GST Registration with annexe A & B/Partnership Deed / Proof of proprietorship or other proof of ownership.
Covering letter should be on company letterhead.
Last 6 months personal and business bank account statements with bank seal & signature.
Company’s and personal ITR (only ITR-V, Indian Income Tax Return Verification Form or Acknowledgement is accepted) for the last 2 assessment years.

6 - If retired:

Retirement documents & pension proof -pension account statement – 6 months.
Last 6 months personal bank statement (original, sealed & signed by the bank) + FD receipts (if there).
Personal ITR for the last 2 assessment years.
Clear photocopies of valid UK, USA, or CAN visas (if any).

7- Savings Account Bank balance minimum should be tour cost.

1 - Booking Confirmation: All bookings are subject to availability and will be confirmed by Santamonica Tours & Travels in writing or via email upon receipt of payment.

2 - Payment Terms: Full payment or a deposit, as specified in the Payment Schedule, must be made at the time of booking to secure the reservation. Failure to comply may result in cancellation of the booking.

3 - Cancellation and Refunds: Cancellation policies may vary depending on the type of service or package booked. Any cancellations or changes must be notified to Santamonica Tours & Travels in writing. Refund eligibility will be determined based on the cancellation policy applicable to the specific booking.

4 - Travel Documents: It is the responsibility of the traveler to ensure that all necessary travel documents, such as passports, visas, and health certificates, are valid and obtained prior to departure. Santamonica Tours & Travels will not be held liable for any issues arising from inadequate or expired travel documents.

5 - Travel Insurance: It is highly recommended that travelers obtain comprehensive travel insurance to cover any unforeseen circumstances, including trip cancellation, medical emergencies, or loss of personal belongings. Santamonica Tours & Travels will not be liable for any expenses or losses incurred due to the absence of travel insurance.

6 - Itinerary Changes: Santamonica Tours & Travels reserves the right to modify travel itineraries, accommodations, transport arrangements, or other components of the package if deemed necessary due to unforeseen circumstances or factors beyond its control. Any changes will be communicated to the traveler as soon as possible.

7 - Health and Safety: Travelers are responsible for their own health and safety during the trip. It is advisable to adhere to local laws, customs, and guidelines, and to take necessary precautions regarding personal health, vaccinations, and safety measures.

8 - Liability: Santamonica Tours & Travels will exercise reasonable care and diligence in making travel arrangements. However, it shall not be responsible for any loss, damage, injury, or inconvenience caused directly or indirectly due to acts of nature, accidents, delays, political unrest, or any other force majeure event beyond its control.

9 - Disputes: Any disputes arising from bookings or services provided by Santamonica Tours & Travels shall be governed by the courts of Ernakulam and the said courts will have exclusive jurisdiction over the disputed matters. The parties involved shall attempt to resolve any disputes amicably through negotiation or mediation.

10 - Data Protection: Santamonica Tours & Travels may collect and process personal information provided by the traveler for the purpose of making travel arrangements. Santamonica Tours & Travels will handle personal data in accordance with applicable data protection laws and will not share personal information with third parties without prior consent, except as required by law or for the purpose of providing the booked services.
