DAY 01: 29 JAN 2024- ARRIVAL AT SAO PAULO, BRAZIL

  • After the Emigration formalities Meet with our Local representative in Sao Paulo and transfer to the Hotel. Check into the Hotel. Dinner & Overnight stay at the hotel. (D)

DAY 02: 30 JAN 2024- SÃO PAULO-  RIO DE JANEIRO (FLIGHT)

  • After breakfast check out from the hotel and proceed to Sao Paulo Tour, starting with the “Estacao da Luz” train station, inaugurated in 1867 and known for its architectural beauty. Then we continue to “Terraco Italia”, one of the most beautiful buildings in the old center; then to the Municipal Theater, the Chá Viaduct, the Banespa Building, the Pateo do Collegio and the Sé Cathedral with its splendid stained glass windows.
  • The tour continues through the Liberdade neighbourhood, where the largest concentration of Japanese immigrants and their typical decorations is found, the financial center of São Paulo, on Av. Paulista, where modern buildings such as the MASP (Museum of Art of São Paulo) and ending at Parque do Ibirapuera, were inaugurated in1954 and considered one of the most important parks in the city. Lunch at the restaurant. Later transfer to the airport for your flight to Rio. Flight departs at 1715 Hours and arrives into Rio at 1820 Hours. Pick up from the Airport and transfer to the hotel for check in. Dinner & overnight stay at the hotel. (B, L, D)

DAY 03: 31 JAN 2024- RIO DE JANEIRO TOUR – CORCOVADO –CHRIST THE REDEEMER – SUGAR LOAF MOUNTAIN

  • After breakfast the tour will start at the Christ the Redeemer statue: situated at a height of 710 mts. It is one of the most visited places in the city.
  • “Christ The Redeemer “Christ the Redeemer is an Art Deco statue of Jesus Christ in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, created by French sculptor Paul Landowski and built by Brazilian engineer Heitor da Silva Costa, in collaboration with French engineer Albert Caquot. The statue of Christ the Redeemer has become a symbolic protector of people. Like Jesus Christ, the statue protects the urban environment, like a roof over your head. Cristo Redentor is as important as any shelter. Christ the Redeemer provides protection for the soul.
  • From the summit, we will enjoy beautiful views of various beaches, Laguna Rodrigo de Freitas, Maracanã Stadium, and among other sites. The climb to the monument is done in a Van. This is also an ecological tour, as we go through the Tijuca Forest National park, considered the largest urban forest in the world.
  • Lunch at the restaurant.
  • Afterwards, we continue towards Sugar Loaf which with its 396 meters. of height offers a wonderful view of Guanabara Bay and the beaches of Botafogo, Flamengo and Copacabana. Sugarloaf Mountain is a peak situated in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, at the mouth of Guanabara Bay on a peninsula that juts out into the Atlantic Ocean. The mountain is one of several monolithic granite and quartz mountains that rise straight from the water's edge around Rio de Janeiro. Geologically, it is considered part of a family of steep-sided rock outcroppings known as non-inselberg bornhardts.

DAY 04: 01 FEB 2024 - RIO – IGUAZU FALLS (BRAZILIAN SIDE)

  • Breakfast & check out from the Hotel. Transfer to the Airport. The flight departs from Rio at 1110 Hours and arrives into Iguazu at 1320 Hours. Transfer for lunch at the restaurant.
  • After lunch transfer to the Brazilian side of the falls. Upon arriving at the Visitors Center, we enter through the Access Portal individually, where the carrying capacity of the park is controlled. Then we will board the park buses that will lead us to the beginning of the catwalks, a 1,200 meters path on the side of Iguazu River. Throughout the walk, we will have stunning views of the Argentine Falls. We will observe the Iguazu River Canyon, Rivadavia and Three Musketeers waterfalls, among others. Towards the end of the tour, we will arrive at the bottom of the Devil's Throat viewpoint, which at this point is only 200mts. away. The tour ends near the Salto Floriano, where we will find the elevator that leads to the parking level to take the bus back to the park entrance gate.
  • In the evening, enjoy dinner and show off traditional Latin-American music and dance. (B, L, D)

DAY 05: 02 FEB 2024 - IGUAZU FALLS – IGUAZU NATIONAL PARK (ARGENTINIAN SIDE)

  • Breakfast and early departure from the hotel and cross the border to Argentina. Visit part of the Iguazu National Park, which preserves 67000 ha. of giant trees, vines and ferns living with multi-coloured butterflies, birds and other mammals. We walk through the lower circuit, from where we can see among others the “two sisters” and the “Bosetti” waterfalls, a panoramic view of San Martin Island and the Union Fall. Later we walk the upper trail shifting along walkways located above major falls up to the majestic “San Martin Fall” from where we have a panoramic view of the Brazilian falls.
  • Finally, we take a ride on the ecological train to get to “Devil´s throat station”. From there, after 1000mts. walk along the catwalks, we reach the most famous fall of the park: The Devil's Throat, where the Iguazu River speaks with all its strength and the falling water gives the illusion of rainbows.
  • Lunch at the restaurant.
  • Transfer to hotel for check-in.

DAY 06: 03 FEB 2024 - IGUAZU - BUENOS AIRES ARGENTINA (FLIGHT)

  • Breakfast and check out from the hotel.
  • Transfer to the Airport for the flight to Buenos Aires.
  • Arrival at Buenos Aires.
  • Lunch at the restaurant
  • Proceed to a City tour of Buenos Aires: Passing by Colon Theatre emblematic opera house – one of the most important worldwide –; then continue towards the Obelisco, other traditional symbols of the city. Then you will visit Plaza de Mayo, a historical, political and foundational epicenter. Metropolitan Cathedral, Government House, the Cabildo and the Municipality. This journey continues southwards, walking along old-stoned streets of SAN TELMO: “Tango” neighbourhood. Following the same direction, we arrived in the La Boca neighbourhood. There we find Boca Juniors Football Stadium, which is the maximum example of Argentina’s Passion: Football
  • We will visit CAMINITO: the most tourist place in the area. Bordering the Riachuelo, our tour continues northwards, visiting the old port we can notice how the physiognomy of the city changes. In the evening, transfer to one of the best tango houses to enjoy an exquisite dinner and a wonderful tango show. (B, L, D)

DAY 07: 04 FEB 2024- BUENOS AIRES/ CRUISE TERMINAL

1 - Booking Confirmation: All bookings are subject to availability and will be confirmed by Santamonica Tours & Travels in writing or via email upon receipt of payment.

2 - Payment Terms: Full payment or a deposit, as specified in the Payment Schedule, must be made at the time of booking to secure the reservation. Failure to comply may result in cancellation of the booking.

3 - Cancellation and Refunds: Cancellation policies may vary depending on the type of service or package booked. Any cancellations or changes must be notified to Santamonica Tours & Travels in writing. Refund eligibility will be determined based on the cancellation policy applicable to the specific booking.

4 - Travel Documents: It is the responsibility of the traveler to ensure that all necessary travel documents, such as passports, visas, and health certificates, are valid and obtained prior to departure. Santamonica Tours & Travels will not be held liable for any issues arising from inadequate or expired travel documents.

5 - Travel Insurance: It is highly recommended that travelers obtain comprehensive travel insurance to cover any unforeseen circumstances, including trip cancellation, medical emergencies, or loss of personal belongings. Santamonica Tours & Travels will not be liable for any expenses or losses incurred due to the absence of travel insurance.

6 - Itinerary Changes: Santamonica Tours & Travels reserves the right to modify travel itineraries, accommodations, transport arrangements, or other components of the package if deemed necessary due to unforeseen circumstances or factors beyond its control. Any changes will be communicated to the traveler as soon as possible.

7 - Health and Safety: Travelers are responsible for their own health and safety during the trip. It is advisable to adhere to local laws, customs, and guidelines, and to take necessary precautions regarding personal health, vaccinations, and safety measures.

8 - Liability: Santamonica Tours & Travels will exercise reasonable care and diligence in making travel arrangements. However, it shall not be responsible for any loss, damage, injury, or inconvenience caused directly or indirectly due to acts of nature, accidents, delays, political unrest, or any other force majeure event beyond its control.

9 - Disputes: Any disputes arising from bookings or services provided by Santamonica Tours & Travels shall be governed by the courts of Ernakulam and the said courts will have exclusive jurisdiction over the disputed matters. The parties involved shall attempt to resolve any disputes amicably through negotiation or mediation.

10 - Data Protection: Santamonica Tours & Travels may collect and process personal information provided by the traveler for the purpose of making travel arrangements. Santamonica Tours & Travels will handle personal data in accordance with applicable data protection laws and will not share personal information with third parties without prior consent, except as required by law or for the purpose of providing the booked services.
